Jun 4, 2018 Drake said he’s done things for Kanye West he “thought that he never would need,” and one of those may be co-writing his latest track. According to Hot 97’s Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg, the 6 God wrote the hook on “Yikes” for Kanye’s new album ye. “It’s now a confirmed thing that Drake wrote the hook for ‘Yikes,'” said Rosenberg. “It may be the best melody on the album when you go listen to it. You’ll hear it now and go, ‘Oh, that does sound really good. I get that.'” But Drake is not listed in the production credits. “They didn’t credit him. They said they like forgot,” added Rosenberg. “They left him off. He doesn’t have a writing credit. Interesting timing to forget the writing credit.” Drake made reference to Kanye’s ghostwriters on his Pusha-T diss “Duppy Freestyle.” “I’m in shock, the nerve, the audacity,” he raps. “So if you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of Vs, what do you really think of the ni**a that’s making your beats? / I’ve done things for him I thought that he never would need / Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me.” On his Daytona diss “Infrared,” Pusha called out Drake for using ghostwriters, specifically Quentin Miller. “It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin,” raps Pusha. http://www.rap-up.com/2018/06/04/drake-wrote-kanye-west-yikes-hook/
Jun 4, 2018 Hmmmm that's pretty ironic lol. I imagine they were scrambling to remove Drake's name from the project but realized yikes was one of the stronger songs on it and couldn't cut it. Does this go with Fauntleroys rant about Kanye and good music the other day?
Jun 4, 2018 If anything that's an ever bigger diss by having him write the song, cut him from the credits, then diss him on it. #savage #nickelBack
Jun 4, 2018 Peter Rosenberg & Ebro are notorious liars for hype I seriously cant stand this mfer Rosenberg anymore.
