May 17, 2018 http://www.complex.com/music/2018/0...er.com&utm_campaign=musictw&utm_medium=social Even KURTIS f---ing BLOW, a man who was literally rapping in the 1970s, knows Future is a GOAT. This man is so dusty he rapped things like "Now I'm the guy named Kurtis Blow and Christmas is one thing I know" and "Basketball is my favorite sport/I like the way they dribble up and down the court" and these songs are so ancient that the lyrics were considered hot back in the day.
May 17, 2018 who would be your pick? I'm not necessarily saying I 100% agree with his statement, but it's cool that someone who was rapping in 1979 can recognize Future's influence.
May 17, 2018 T-Pain, who for some reason get's completely forgotten despite basically starting the whole autotune rap/singing shiz
May 17, 2018 Yeah. T-Pain is underrated as f---. I hate that I didn't understand his appeal at first until I turned around 25. Now I'm 28. Colored People Time at every party, ova heeeyuhhhhhh'. *Cleveland Brown Voice*
May 17, 2018 the 1980 kurtis blow album is a classic, but I would place superrappin’ no. 2 over it by grandmaster flash and the furious 5 RIP DJ AJ Scratch
May 17, 2018 Why would anyone listen to a n----- that named his album "Back By Popular Demand" when nobody wanted him to come back
May 18, 2018 Future is a goat, been saying this forever. Many influential rappers have said this too, even pusha t and nas. Out of the big 5 (kendrick, drake, j cole, logic) hes the only one who is completely original. Dude dropped monster (classic mixtape), beast mode (my personal fav), 56 nights, ds2 (classic) and wattba all in 12 months time, thats legendary s---.
