Jul 9, 2017 Let's be honest, Eminem is not getting any younger. His best days have passed a long time ago. We are all aware by now that Eminem has a new album in stores and by the time that new album drops, he will be 45 years old. So let's not kid ourselves, if he can't make this album a good one, there won't be any good albums after that, if any albums at all. After hearing all of the disappointing failures, the MMLP2, the ShadyXV and the SouthPaw stuff, (Not even going to mention that god awful flow he's been using since the MMLP2) I had pretty much given up hopes of ever hearing any decent Eminem material again. But this new album talk has got me a little nostalgic and kind of hyped so i guess i'll give him another chance So this is it guys, Eminem's last chance at redeeming himself. What do y'all think? Is this going to be the final album? Will it be some hot garbage or the comeback people been waiting for?
Jul 9, 2017 What has been said 46279 times? Ain't aware cause i don't spend all my time in the Eminem section.
Jul 9, 2017 Actually, Em's latest work has grown on me over the years. MMLP 2 was great. His songs on Shady XV was also kinda good. I'm happy as long as he gives us new music. Sure he can't do it like he used to but whatever.
Jul 9, 2017 This. Em is no longer the hunger twenty something he used to be and its absurd to still hold him to that standard. With that being said he's still better than 98% of the rappers that are currently out
Jul 9, 2017 It's not a good sign when you have to let songs "grow" on you to like them. That's the problem with people in this section. They won't admit something is garbage. They rather force themselves to like it rather than just admitting it sucks. No offence to you.
Jul 9, 2017 I don't wanna be like this I don't really wanna hurt no feelings But I'm only being real when I say Nobody wants to hear they grandfather rap (nope) And old men have heart attacks And I don't wanna be responsible for that So, put the mic down and walk away You can still have a little bit of dignity
Jul 9, 2017 Sometimes letting something "grow" on you can mean developing an appreciation for the layers and sound and creativity of a project, once you remove the hype and your own hopes/expectations for it. Sometimes people immediately think something is garbage because it's not what they thought they wanted from that artist. Doesn't mean that is isn't actually good though.
Jul 9, 2017 It's whatever to me. I'll probably still be listening to him until I'm his age. Unless it's really pure s---.
Jul 9, 2017 Lyrically or musically? If that makes any sense.. Because there is a big difference. Lyrically he hasn't lost his touch. We can even say he got better in a technical sense. But his ability to make good songs that are actually pleasant to hear sonically and his content have gone down the drain.
