May 7, 2018 \http://thelunchtabletalks.com/its-not-kanye-its-america/ Regarding all his antics this past week.
May 7, 2018 Of course not all of them (or even the majority) but its hilarious how some americans feel like they are the best/smartest and most experienced while the rest of the world shakes their heads at some of the s--- happening over there
May 7, 2018 Yes, how dare she not want to persecute people for wrongthink. Free speech be d---ed amirite. f--- off.
May 7, 2018 Oh for sure! Thats why I mentioned that. Also yeah both the very left and very right people seem very stupid to me but we got that s--- here in Europe as well (maybe less than there but still).. Obviously like we talked about the other day we perceive things differently so its not like US = wrong and Europe = right its just weird to see some things (which works both ways ofc)
May 7, 2018 what makes T.I. any more "connected" to the regular world than Kanye? Plus, this whole tweet is dumb af because, according to it, we shouldn't take advice from anybody successful because, once they become rich, they're magically disconnected? I think I'll keep listening to famous people because they obviously know wtf is going on if they made it
May 7, 2018 "That guy makes 40k a year? He forgot what it's like making 30k a year and knows nothing of my struggle"
May 7, 2018 I think we need to stop auto-labelling celebrities as being "disconnected" when their thoughts don't align with ours. If Kanye said some super leftist s---, the right would be calling him "disconnected" and the left would love him even though he's the same fixed variable
May 7, 2018 ok I got a little triggered there I'll admit lol But, for real, individualistic thinking >>>
May 7, 2018 politics are weird af but some may disagree and that's ok or not ok depending on how you choose to think
May 7, 2018 That bit isn’t comparing the two? It’s about kanye’s disconnect from society which is supported by the fact that he wholeheartedly supports trump but doesn’t know about one of his most talked about/fundamental policies. It’s also supported by other falsehoods Kanye has spewed recently such as, “Chicago is the murder capital of the world” (it’s not) or that “slavery was a choice.” It’s not surprising that a guy who’s seemingly struggled with being a celebrity (his feuds with other celebrities/paparazzi) & thus has closed himself off from even some of his closest friends (Jay-Z) doesn’t really grasp the consequences of his actions in the real world. Nope. It’s talking specifically about Kanye West (and earlier in the piece Michael Jackson for comparison). It’s not talking about celebrities/rich people in general.
May 7, 2018 Mass shootings are not up, that's a lie. I agree mental health is not taken seriously, but more gun restriction is not the sane answer.
