Dec 5, 2020 Cam easily has a better body of work, but I prefer Mase as a rapper. Cam is one of the hardest, pettiest rappers to ever live and Mase absolutely shredded him on The Oracle.

Dec 6, 2020 This like asking me who my favorite imaginary son is.... Ma$e is hideously under appreciated as far as his contributions to rap goes along with Puff. He was a huge component in the whole Rap/R&B fusions, the signature recipe of Bad Boy, that came to dominate radio at the turn of the naughts. All of that mattered in Hip-Hops incremental dominance of the music industry, plus he’s had a string of strong guest appearances here and there. But this one is a no-brainer for me, Cam’s peak is my favorite time stamp of any rapper outside of Kanye’s career. Cartoonish, inventive, trail-blazer, the guy led one of NY’s most lasting stylistic movements while creating some elite albums (and hubris) along the way.
