Feb 11, 2021 I’m gonna go on record saying I do not get the appeal of Denzel curry. I think he’s extremely overrated
Feb 11, 2021 Cardi B. Her debut was mediocre and definitely not worth a grammy (if you even consider the grammies as some validating source of what's good or bad)
Feb 11, 2021 Cole can rap but he can’t RAP rap. I’ll never understand it. It’s the most pseudo intellectual baseline deep nonsense. He should’ve said f--- nas and became a pop rap super star like drake. Do you really want to love me forever uh uh uh or is it just a hit and runnnnn
Feb 11, 2021 That’s the thing, I like Cole, even with his corniness. I feel like n----s act like he’s one of the best rappers that ever lived and I don’t even think he cracks top 25 at least
Feb 11, 2021 d--- you and @Grim both hurting my soul, zuu is one of my fav albums of the past 5 years. tbh I don't see people talk about denzel enough for him to be overrated—but i've definitely seen dustheads have bad opinions about him that don't make sense like "he's the only good mumble rapper" after they heard him rap over kenny beats bootleg RZA instrumentals You can't tell me these don't slap:
Feb 11, 2021 Remember when J. Cole said people should pick where their tax money goes because he thought something like that would actually help minority communities lmao
Feb 11, 2021 Keep in mind I mean 50 Cent is overrated on this forum specifically because we have so many aftermath stans. I think he's reasonably rated overall. Game is definitely overrated by the world at large though, prob the most forced rapper on GOAT lists ever.
Feb 11, 2021 Cole has the potential to make his first truly great album coming up imo—I think the "no features" s--- made him too insular. Past few years he's been working with so many different rappers via features and ROTD3, feels like a turning point for him that hope he doesn't botch cuz there's always been pieces of a great rapper in there that has yet to form to a coherent project.
