Jul 19, 2017 I like the whole period of his career until the summer of 2011. (i like music from 1997 to 2011) I even like the music that he released in 2006 and 2007. "h---: The Sequel" was like the first warning that something went wrong. (5/10) "MMLP2" (5/10) It was worse than "Encore" (8/10) many times. Albums from the label Shady Records failed every time: Southpaw OST (2015), ShadyXV (2014), Slaughterhouse - welcome to: Out Houes (2012), Yelawolf - Radioactive (2011). Such good albums as 50 Cent - SKI (2013) and Yelawolf - Love Story (2015) did not have a good promo. 50 Cent leave the label, unable even to release the album. D12 remained in the past. Slaughterhouse did not become "super rap stars" (as they constantly talked about this in the announcements).
Jul 19, 2017 I thought this was going to say 'The last great rap album of the 2010s' I almost had a heart attack MMLP2 was dope so no, the last great Em album was TES tho
Jul 19, 2017 for me Recovery ranks amongst the worst rap albums ever released by an established artist. by far the lowest point of his career.
Jul 19, 2017 Everyone hates Recovery, because there was a pop song with Rihanna. I also think that this is not the best song for Eminem, but there was a lot of hits if we exclude the track with Rihanna.
Jul 19, 2017 last great eminem album was relapse. recovery was really very ok, mmlp2 at least 10 times better than recovery.
Jul 19, 2017 Encore 8/10 and MMLP 2 5/10 ?? U consider Recovery great ? Well, your opinion sucks to me.
Jul 19, 2017 True. I dont understand the The Recovery hate at all. Great songs with great meaning for the most part. The last album that Em was being truly authentic. MMLP 2 showcased great rapping skills but he wasn't rapping about much. No real song structure for the most part on that album plus Em was trying to be like his 26 year old self instead of trying something new
