Sep 25, 2017 Nobody provides proof behind their arguments. If you look at the Pac vs BIG debate, people actually provide proof behind what they're saying. Half of the people say Nas is the better lyricist and half the people say Jay is the better lyricist, but it doesn't matter if you don't explain why. The only argument that is argued properly is discography. Who's the better lyricist? Who is more technically skilled as an MC/rapper? These kind of questions are always overlooked
Sep 25, 2017 Nas > JAY-Z > Biggie IMO Though at this point, I think Jay might be better than Nas. We'll have to see how Nas' next album holds up against 4:44
Sep 25, 2017 Nas > Jay for me at the moment though. Who do you guys think is better lyrically and who do you guys think is more skilled as a rapper?
Sep 25, 2017 Calling some BS I like Jay as much as the next guy but considering they aren't too different from eachother stylistically, BIG was better than Jay at almost every single facet of hip hop
Sep 25, 2017 Arguable Jay is better at double-entendres, rhyme schemes, and technical rapping and lyricism as a whole Biggie was superior in flow and storytelling though, but not by much BIG didn't get the chance to prove his longevity due to his death, while Jay was able to strive in the industry. Jay made BIG stop writing down his raps. Jay impressed BIG to a point where BIG wanted to start a group with Jay. Hov is the better rapper
Sep 25, 2017 BIG is better at rhyme schemes, technical rapping(broad definition) and overall lyricism(again broad)....ill give Jay double entendres but that's cause he's probably too ever at that Add to that flow and storytelling like u said...he's superior in almost every way
Sep 25, 2017 I'm sure 4:44 is gonna be better than Nas: Finally Sleeping, the Greatest Hits Collection
Sep 25, 2017 Are you really surprised someone put one top five OAT over another top five OAT? There's arguments to be made for both rappers being the best of all time.
Sep 25, 2017 IMO Nas > Jay > BIG > Pac I'm still not sure who's better as a rapper between Jay and Nas though
