Dec 23, 2020 We got flow, production, just all-in-all great quality on Side B. But what else do we want from Em next. I'd like him to start releasing singles every now and then. More features. And for the love of God, I'd like him to come to the media more.
Dec 23, 2020 Nothing rly. He should make songs he wanna make from now on. Even if the songs are revival level. He owes us nothing. No artist or band jn history gave their fans 21 years of consistent music
Dec 23, 2020 Stevie Wonder? Johnny Cash? Michael Jackson? Elton John? Bob Dylan? David Bowie? Elvis Presley? They were pretty consistent afaik, no need to exaggerate and with it those DJ surprises saying they have some exclusive s--- ready, that'll be his best promo run since MMLP2
Dec 23, 2020 He can put out the most f---ing garbage album next I don't even care, last 2/3 albums were insane, side b is close to prime em and I never would've thought I would be saying that 3 years ago, I had given up on em after revival ( maybe after mmlp2 even )
Dec 23, 2020 Everyone here is very correct. Em is indeed in prime form and owes nothing to us. True true.
Dec 23, 2020 Id like to see a more serious, mature album before he retires. I know he's "Eminem" and that he's all about jokes and crude humor, but it would be interesting to see what a "grown up" Marshall sounds like and what kinda s--- he'd talk about. Obviously to match the mature content you'd need some proper beats behind it.
Dec 23, 2020 A fully Dre+self produced album full of Discombobulateds and Lock It Ups. That s--- could even top TES and MMLP if he keeps up his new prime form of rapping. And he should promote his albums a little bit. It's sad to see just an instagram post for Side B and that's it. Other than that, the dude is on fire and doesn't owe us anything.
Dec 23, 2020 I don't know...I'm pretty happy with a mix of Kamikaze and some songs from Murdered By being his last album for me.
Dec 23, 2020 He just needs to keep reading the comments to fuel his inspiration.....he avoided the internet for a long time but he's realized it's an easy way to be inspired (which he lacked for a long time).
Dec 23, 2020 One of them (Michaek) has 3 songs in which it wasn't even Michael who sung them. They (Sony) hired an impostor (Jason Malachi) and tried to fool us all. Needless to say that they couldn't fool the biggest fans of MJ (like myself) for 2 seconds. And then, the second posthumous album (XScape) was over-produced. They took the demos and got new producers to make it sound more modern. The instrumentals were awful. Michael would've hated them. The song they released without new production are amazing! (Chicago, Loving You, A Place With No Name) And could have been on albums like Bad without a sweat.
Dec 23, 2020 Smaller projects. Start making projects. Mtbmb was cohesive enough, but give me something tighter substance-wise. Gnat, last minute of discombobulated, book of rhymes; all sounds he should move forward with. Also, peel back the puns/wordplay frequency by about 85%.
Dec 23, 2020 I think retirement may come soon. But we all know he can rap. I would him to make a real concept album.
Dec 23, 2020 That's one of the songs they had an imitator singing instead of Michael. That song never existed.
