Mar 9, 2018 Pretty sure I read somewhere that the voice they used in SOC isn't the actor's, they had one guy who looked like Pac and one guy who sounded like Pac and dubbed them together. Would be kinda hard to do that for a whole movie and not have it look weird.
Mar 9, 2018 Straight outta Compton more overrated imo, like it's a good movie, I jus feel like it could've been more gracious to other members of the group an not just an ice cube/ Dr dre side of the story. I feel like eazy-e wouldve hated the movie. 8miles good tho, it isn't really autobiographical so they could do whatever with it an that's what makes it good to me. I wouldn't call it overrated, I'd call it classic tbh an everyone has seen it an knows what it is so it could be looked at as overrated just because most people loved the movie when it came out. If it was overrated I dont think the appeal wouldve lasted as long as it has. Hustle an Flow better tho, s--- GRODT is better than 8mile imo. Not overrated tho
Mar 9, 2018 I haven't watched SOC since it came out but for memory i think i thought it could have been trimmed a bit. I'm not much of a movie person so there's not many nominations to compete with but I'd say 8 miles my favourite movie i love it. Again I'm no movie conniseur i rarely watch em so I'm not sayin its a cinema classic or anything in case movie buffs are reading
Mar 9, 2018 The movie All eyes on me is a classic compared to the mess that is 8 mile. Str8 outta Compton was a letdown, not terrible, just could have been more.
Mar 9, 2018 It really isn't, it's really good, like it's in top rap movies but it's not the best. SOC isn't either, not even close, an that's the other one everyone always says is the best. Grodt HaF, s--- on both completely. 8 mile has more mainstream appeal, won Oscars, tons of recognition an that's probably why people call it overrated. But I think it's jus cuz that movie appealed to everybody.
