Sep 16, 2018 This video encapsulates Eminem f---ing up Slaughterhouse. Forgot just how bad this song is, and how much worse the video is. It's a disaster that so many talented rappers made so many horrible choices.
Sep 16, 2018 I was a big fan of Welcome to: Our House. If this album including this song came out in 2008 instead of 2012 it would have been #1
Sep 16, 2018 I'm sitting here, watching this video for the first time, seeing a bunch of broke nobody a--- n----s dancing in a photo studio, rapping about their amazing life, but I don't any of them actually showing this great life. You couldn't get them on an actual beach? In an actual car? In an actual amazing life for the video? Eminem couldn't s---t it in his backyard at least? It's sad because g.d., I like this song. Where was I when this dropped? Is that Budden in non-hole-ridden clothes? Is that stock footage of s--- they're rapping about? Jesus christ? Omg. Eminem literally phoned it in. n----- shot his scenes using f---ing snapchat filters or some s---, green screens and sent them in. Garbage.
Sep 16, 2018 This is my mothafuckin life, oh yeah in eminem's basement, in front a white screen, ceelo in the middle wearin uncle frank's summer cookout's finest this is my mothafuckin life, lookin chubby in baggy clothes, dancing awkwardly together, in a studio, no b------s until the last 3 minutes because of budget cuts, eminem whacking moles on a green screen, oh yeah fat dude on a couch, no way to learn any of our names cuz oh yeah, fat dudes every where, dude in glasses, kinda fuckable, but lets hide him, cuz joe budden think he supposed to be the hottest so give him that red jacket, is that royce, he got some sexy lips, lick them yes, yes you are the best in the biz, if i knew who you were would be tight, oh yeah, this is my mothafuckin life, oh yeah, these aren't bars. they just look cute on forums when you type like this. jesus christ the palm trees aren't even real in the one scene they have the car. if you watch it on mute, it's so f---ing gay and awkward jesus. look at joe budden in the background.
Sep 16, 2018 My life should have just been Royce. I could have watched his part in the video over and over. The rest of them ugly n----s could go.
Sep 16, 2018 Budden got a sexy voice, but Royce murdered him. I don't know what he said in the song yet because I wasn't listening, but Royce > Budden. Slaughterhouse should be Royce. Is Royce here? Does Royce know he's cute? Jesus.
Sep 16, 2018 Slaughterhouse was promoted wrong. They were lyrical monsters that had no business on the radio. Eminem tried to promote radio AirPlay and that’s what failed. They aren’t hit makers and never would or will be. The same type of fail happened with yelas first album on shady.
Sep 16, 2018 Joe, Royce, and Crooked were way better artists before they created Slaughterhouse. But if we're being honest, Slaughterhouse did propel them to another level, because before they formed, Joe, Royce and Crooked were struggling for relevance. They were amazing artists though before it. I actually think they all got corny when they formed.
Sep 17, 2018 Most Slaughterhouse fans didn’t want them to sign to Shady. I know that I didn’t. I always thought the signing was great for the label itself since it showed that they were willing to sign “lyrical rappers” but it was a bad move for the group because Shady doesn’t have a great track record unless you’re Em, 50 or early 2000s D12 and Obie. I’m not surprised that it failed and honestly I’m not even surprised that Joe had issues with Em. Joe is known for beefing with everybody. He started a beef with Method Man because Vibe magazine put him in a Greatest MC’s bracket going up against m---. Also you’d think Joell would have learned his lesson after the Aftermath deal went to s---. Those branches of Interscope don’t have great track records.
Sep 17, 2018 I was optimistic when 2.0 started. I figured Em's problems had a huge impact on the label and a relaunch could be a chance to turn things around. I thought more rappers around would be a good influence on Em. Yela and Slaughterhouse were interesting choices and I hoped they'd help bring some edge to Eminem's music after Recovery. I quickly realized my mistake. Even while I was cautious about the potential release date problems from interscope, I never would have guessed both label debuts would sound like they did. Everyone on Slaughterhouse has problems with record labels in the past so I assumed they got a good deal with Shady.
Sep 18, 2018 If u can't make songs, write and perform hooks, are too lyrically complex and technical, don't have versatility in doing anything besides rapping e.g singing or harmonizing and just rap, lack charisma, don't have an ear for beats that b--- and sound appealing, can't make love songs or female songs like some player/p---- songs that a chick can still rock with and listen to, can't make cross over radio singles, can't sound engaging and interesting when attempting to rap with introspect, lack any form of female fan base and audience It was always going to end how it did and u are always destined to flop and never be able to sell records which is just always inevitable for Slaughterhouse due to their style, making niche type of rap, having all the major weakness i stated Slaughterhouse music simply lacks flavour, soul, spice, vibe, musicality, entertainment value, feel good factor
Sep 18, 2018 He's lying through his teeth in that interview He never did s--- for them nor expected s--- from them. They were simply a pet project of his
Sep 18, 2018 Nothing won't with the song, in fact it does what it was meant to do; introduce Slaughterhouse to the mainstream. Also, nothing won't with the video AFTER the Eminme s---. The bit was awful.
