    LTWYL is way to simple a story.. Its what someone would write who hasnt actually been in a relationship like that.

    River fixes that by being written from an outside point of view.

    Why..? I meant that LTWYL does't really go into mucb detail at all.. It's a story about an abusive relationship that doesnt really say much. It's kind of how somebody who doesn't know s--- about the subject would tell that story (it stays on the surface).

    River goes into a bit more detail, but since it is told from an outsiders (Eminem's) point of view, its logical he doesnt go into to much detail. It's a better song overall because of it and River also has more to discover in the song itself, whereas LTWYL is more "what you see is what you get".

    You said that ltwyl is bad because its written by someone who hasnt been in that situation, like an outsider
    But that river is good cos its written from an outside pov, as in someone who hasnt been in that situation

    I mean both songs are written as if they're in the point of view of someone in the situation so idk

    Chorus for chorus river is better, but verses are weak and corny on river.
