Jul 12, 2019 Lil Wayne stopped his performance tonight to apologize to the crowd and say it might be his last night on tour with Blink-182. During his set at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia yesterday (July 11), he stopped mid-song to address the crowd. "I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me, but I am so-not used to performing to a crowd... and there’s not too many... that’s not my swag,” he explains. “I’m not sure how long I’m gonna be able to do this tour, but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though. Let’s go.” According to numerous fan reports, Weezy later ended his set early. Some even claim that he only performed for roughly 20 minutes. Jul 12, 2019 I think what started all this is the fact their mashup song was so trash and Wayne probably about as mad as I was about it because their choices of songs to mashup were literally just their most popular song. f---ing pathetic. At that point, I would have been kinda over it, too. But he kinda has to blame himself for agreeing to take part in it. And I feel like he's saying he's not used to performing in front of a crowd that prefers Pop Punk anyway. That's just me though.

Jul 12, 2019 Never understood the appeal of blink 182. I went and saw Green Day when they opened for Blink 182 on MTV'S Campus Invasion tour and left when GD's set was over with what seemed like a quarter of the audience. Blink wasn't really an organic success.
Jul 13, 2019 Nah. "The Offspring" presented The Humorous Pop-Punk Schtick/Motif better, to me. People like them, "Dead Kennedys", and "The Talking Heads" are why I had my Mini-Proto-Punk Revival Phase that must have lasted like a year and a half or something like that when I was in my Early 20's. Good times. Adam's Song is why I feel Blink isn't a complete waste. A few suicide attempts were thwarted-off just from and by listening to that. Cried to that song a few times, too. Maybe I'm just that basic and daft though.
