Eminem When Encore leaked

    I wasn't as Internet savvy back then and didn't obtain leaks etc. Anyway I've always noticed people mention how it leaked and he changed parts of the album last minute.

    Are we aware of what the changes are? Like were songs like Love You More and We As Americans originally on Encore or was it different songs?

    Forgive me if it's a silly question I've just always wanted to get it clarified what the 'last minute changes' were or whatever it was he did as I've always got the impression the album was altered due to the leak.

    Nothing was changed. In 2003, the bonus tracks were leaked by his Half-Brother, which is why inferior songs like My First Single, Big Weenie and a--- Like That ended up on Encore instead.

    There was a track named Chrisopher Reeves on the original tracklist.
    (I am too lazy to find the link right now, but you can use the wayback-machine to view eminem.com in the time before Encore got released and see for yourself.)

    I've heard of that song from Rap Genius. It was apparently a tribute to Christopher Reeves, making fun of him but also showing his respects.

    Yeah that's basically what I was wondering. So essentially those songs potentially replaced songs like Love You More? I always wondered whether the songs they 'replaced' were ones we're already aware of.

    No idea tbh, I heard about it but don't know if that song ever was released or leaked. Maybe other people on here know that

    It leaked at least a month in advance of the scheduled release. Monkey See Monkey Do, We As Americans, Love You More, Can-I-b----, Bully, and Come On In (also known as 6 In The Morning. It was released on D12 World after Encore) were suppose to be on the original track list. Unfortunately he replaced them with My 1st Single, Rain Man, Big Weenie, and a--- Like That. The replaced tracks were released on the CD Straight From The Lab.

    I have but I wasn't certain they were all Encore rejects. I've got that CD. I was more curious what was replaced etc. and whether all the songs that were taken off the original tracklist have now been heard or if there's still some that haven't been heard.

    Those would have improved Encore a fuckload imo.

    people wouldn't have to make threads questioning whether or not em needs to die in 3d to secure his legacy as goat if encore had been released the way he envisioned

    Idc tho. Encore was released at a time where I was makin' some solid moves in middle school. I love it cause of the nostalgia effect.

    Can I b---- was an Eminem Show era throwaway. That would never have been on Encore, especially since the beat is just an unfinished version of Without Me
