One verse says " that's why I got d12 but no em" another "I would have loved to be the on the third verse of renegade " My question is why has the collab not happened? They were both on the song "the anthem" but I don't count that.

Dec 2, 2014 On Instagram a while ago when mmlp2 came out tech had a short video of him singing the chorus to "so much better". Having trouble finding it tho. I've talked to Tech n9ne once about what he things about Ems music, he replied "his music is beautiful, every artist dreams of a song with eminem" my friend is techs ex wife's brothers son (his aunt is techs ex wife) my homie calls tech uncle Aaron and is fairly close to him.

Dec 2, 2014 This...... The real question is why has he not collaborated with Nas yet? Obviously it wouldn't be any where near as good as it would have been back in, let's say 2002/2003 but i'd definitely be pumped to hear them on a song together. I remember a couple years back Nas said he asked Jay and Em to jump on the "Daughters" remix with him and he declined because he said he had run the subject of his daughter into the ground. Such a bs excuse.
Dec 2, 2014 Exactly. He talked s--- about his mother on his older albums a lot too, but that didn´t made My Mom any less great. Nowadays when he does rap about a serious subject it´s about his struggle with fame and how he doesn´t want to quit. He has been rapping about that for a while now too, but it´s not the subject that matters, it´s the execution (like GoF and FIne Line are examples that he is able to make good songs every once in a while). Daughters remix with Jay and Nas could have been a classic, I am just worried that he would have a hard time slowing down his flow and adapt to that beat. Both him and Jay are idiots for not doing that tbh, so much potential.
Dec 2, 2014 I've always thought he's held himself back to an extent ever since his come back. He's to afraid to talk about his daughters, mom, ex wife etc. in his music anymore for whatever reason. He's to afraid to really lash out at people like he use to or really poke fun at controversial topics like he use too. Yeah, we'll get that one song once in a while where he'll talk about his daughters or mom or something and yeah we might get a couple lines of him poking fun at people but it's not the same like you can tell it's watered down material. A 99-01 Em would be all over topics like the Aurora shooting, Sandy Hook, Boston Bombings etc. he seems to avoid controversial topics like these now, maybe because he doesn't like the controversy he brings anymore? Idk. Even the few times he does make music regarding his family or personal matters in interviews he's always like "I said what I had to say in the song and I don't really have anything else to add" and I'm just like dude seriously? Lol what are you so scared of?
