Jun 15, 2015 Im trying to do an investigation on why Dre hasnt produced anything substantial for Eminem since Recovery...Anybody have any interviews or ideas why this has occurred?... Phenomenal was produced by Khalil who works closely with Dre but it still wasnt Dre...Is the studio chemistry now gone with Dre or...? Im hoping to hear something from Dre with the NWA soundtrack and Southpaw soundtrack
Jun 15, 2015 investigation might be too strong of a word to be used here he didnt probably cuz dre sucks nowdays and doesnt produce for anyone period
Jun 15, 2015 Alex da Kid hahaha yup yup...The Our House beat reminds me of Dre...I think Em been lookin for someone like Dre thru Khalil and Alex da kid to fill the void
Jun 15, 2015 Because Dre doesn't do anything ever. When you look back, he's used other producers as a crutch for 90% of his work, and he's only gotten less active as time has gone by. He f---ing sucks.
Jun 15, 2015 I've always wondered if they've had some sort of falling out. He doesn't work with the bass brothers anymore either. I really wish he would. Maybe Roots will actually happen and there will be some Dre/bass brothers production on there. I think Koolo said he (dre) and Xzibit would feature on a song. b---- Please 3 maybe? Edit: Dre did some work on MMLP2 right? The album says he was Executive producer. Maybe that was just for show.
Jun 15, 2015 I'm about now and then, appreciate the new new board man. Life and work is s-----y so I don't post much nowadays.
Jun 15, 2015 He produced a song for 50 in like 2013 called Smoke. That was probably an old throwaway beat tho
Jun 15, 2015 it was definitely a throwaway beat AND hook. 50 got Trey Songz to re-record it though, to update it, but you can tell by far that its a throwaway dre beat, just like EVERY beat he has given away for the past decade.
Jun 15, 2015 Maybe Dre really is stock piling songs/beats for a new album. Maybe his next album will have like 40 tracks. The number of songs that he has in the vault is pretty crazy.
