Dec 3, 2014 SSLP. I think it's almost there but not quite. It serves more as a sampler to Eminem's various style, and less as a coherent album. That being said, it has some of his best songs.

Dec 3, 2014 Actually, I probably have to agree with you - even though it's my favourite album of his. SSLP is a little unpolished/rough around the edges. It shows signs of vulnerability and naivety when it comes to crafting an album. It's the stepping stone that most battle rappers turn studio rappers face - and whilst Eminem took it gallantly, it wasn't quite there. He had ALL bases covered on MMLP though.

Dec 3, 2014 Don't get me wrong, they are all great albums. I only consider there to be like 30 classic albums though, I'm really picky, and I don't consider SSLP to be coherent enough. I consider MMLP to be one of the greatest albums of all time, and TES would be in my top 25.

Dec 3, 2014 I think the TES is a classic album can listen to it all the way through he flows on every beat well and he nearly produced every track which is a bonus imo he should do nearly all the production on his next album then it will come out alot better
Dec 3, 2014 Good to see one thread for this not 10 every week lol. But Kanye obviously, I like eminem and kanye's best albums both the same, but kanye is consistent and what people consider his "weaker" albums (808, graduation) are still great and a million times better than encore relapse etc.
