Dec 28, 2019 Post your reasons why/favorite beats/etc if you vote. Both are top 3 producers OAT but imo it is Kanye between the two. Kanye has a more versatile discog and just edges Dre with top beats as well. Favorite Kanye beat:
Dec 28, 2019 Give me any comparison and I can pick except these 2 The vintage piano Dre sound >>>>> The sampled kanye beats >>>>> along w RZA my top 3 for sure
Dec 28, 2019 Still D.R.E is pretty much all Scott Storch lol, just for one But if anyone tries to deny Dre's impact then they're delusional
Dec 28, 2019 Dre helped shape & define an entire regions sound, & led the way in evolving the sound - from the high speed sample heavy 80s sound, the early 90s synthy G Funk, the lush piano & horns s--- he was doin in the turn of the millenium, the imax sounding cinematic s--- he was doin further into the 2000s, the live instrumentation s--- he's been doin lately that you see Anderson Paak and Kendrick drawing from. The DJ Quiks and DJ Mustards have their hand in it as well, but i don't think any one producer displayed so much versatility in the L.A. sound as much as Dr. Dre. He's hard to beat. He's hard to beat unless you're Kanye. How do you even come up with s--- like this & this & this
Dec 28, 2019 Kanye because Dre won’t release all those Detox tracks he has....over the years in the vault
Dec 28, 2019 Hard to say, honestly. Both are responsible for some of the most iconic beats oat. Kanye is definitely more versatile, though
Dec 29, 2019 Dre was a pioneer and most of his greatest work was without the technology Kanye had. NWA records and the majority (or at least the best) Deathrow records which are untouchable. Kanye's great, but Dre's his daddy
Dec 29, 2019 Pls dont They cant even clean kanye and dre's shoes ;( Edit; wanted to see results so went w dre but really its 100% tied for me
Dec 29, 2019 There really is nothing wrong w picking either one here. You also said kanye 'without a doubt'. I honestly prefer Dre without Eminem except forgot about Dre.
