Nov 22, 2015 So I'm not a fan of Aziz Ansari at all, I actually find his comedy pretty easy and annoying, but I figured I'd check it out anyway. Anziz and some guy named Alan Yang that also worked on Parks & Rec came up with this. It's a meandering, life experience show. Actually decent when it's not stuck up its own a--- on a social issue.
Nov 22, 2015 I liked the first two episodes tbh but i hardly ever watch these lifestyle type shows so i don't know how good it is comparitively
Nov 22, 2015 It's very good. There are moments where the writing and the acting don't work, but overall I really admired its heart and ambition. The storyline with his girlfriend felt surprisingly authentic. Far from perfect, but a recommended watch
Nov 22, 2015 Agreed. I've watched about 5 or 6 episodes and it's good. Some relatable moments and some literal laugh out loud scenes as well
Nov 22, 2015 i knew the show was well received by the public but people whose taste i trust were shi--ing on it, and the pilot really was stale as f--- so i had 0 desire to keep watching but if swizz thinks its alright then why not
Nov 22, 2015 i think swizz has a more refined taste than mano....like where Mano would watch TWD no matter how s-----y it got (and so would i, mind u), Swizz wouldn't
Nov 22, 2015 This doesn't say much. If I start watching a show and it starts off ok but gets real s-----y I almost always finish watching it. There's only a handful of shows I literally couldn't stand anymore and it was mostly because of bad acting (Unforgettable, Revolution) It's a bad habit EDIT: I wanna add that while I may not like every episode or storyline as much as the other on TWD, the acting is hardly ever unbearable (save Carl at the beginning of the show)
